Can you schedule posts on Instagram?
Yes, in the Instagram app, as long as your account is public. Personal, creator and business accounts all get it. You can schedule photos, carousels and Reels, up to 30 days ahead and up to 25 posts a day.
Some posts can't be scheduled: ones with product tags, collaborative posts, sponsored posts and fundraisers. Stories aren't in the free scheduler either. Meta is testing paid Meta One plans that schedule posts up to a year ahead and add Stories, but only in some countries.

How to schedule Instagram posts from a computer
Meta Business Suite schedules Instagram posts from a desktop for free, if your Instagram is a professional account added to Business Suite. Go to Content, then Create post, choose Instagram, add up to 10 photos, and pick a time under Scheduling options. Scheduled posts are under Content, Posts & reels, Scheduled, where Manage post lets you edit, reschedule, move to drafts or delete.
For Stories from a computer, see how to schedule Instagram Stories. To post right now from a browser, see how to post on Instagram from a desktop.
How to schedule Instagram with your other networks
Instagram's scheduler only posts to Instagram, and Business Suite only adds Facebook. Disclosure: PersonaXpand is our product. You write the post once on your computer, choose Instagram and any of the other networks you use (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Threads, YouTube, TikTok, Bluesky), and set the time. Each network gets its own version of the caption, and it publishes through Instagram's official API, which needs a professional account.
When comments and DMs come in, PersonaXpand drafts the replies in your own voice for you to approve with a tap. See how to auto-reply to Instagram comments.
