Can you schedule Reels on Facebook?
Yes, for a Facebook Page, in Meta Business Suite. You can schedule a Reel from 20 minutes to 29 days ahead. Guides that send you to Creator Studio are out of date: Creator Studio has been retired, and Meta Business Suite took over its publishing tools.
How to schedule a Facebook Reel in Meta Business Suite
- 1. Open Meta Business Suite (business.facebook.com on a computer, or the Business Suite app) and choose your Page.
- 2. Go to Content or Planner and choose Create reel.
- 3. Upload your vertical video and add the caption and a cover.
- 4. Choose where it goes: your Facebook Page, and your linked Instagram account too if you want.
- 5. Instead of Share now, choose Schedule, pick the date and time, and confirm.
- 6. Scheduled Reels appear in the Planner, where you can change the time or delete them.
Facebook Reels length and size
Current sizes for every network are in the social media image and video size guide.
- Length: the old 90-second limit is gone. In 2025 Meta started publishing new Facebook videos as Reels and dropped the length limit, though short Reels still tend to be watched through more often.
- Shape: vertical 9:16, ideally 1080 by 1920 pixels.
- Safe zone: keep text away from the bottom, where the caption and buttons sit.
Where Meta's scheduler stops
- Facebook and Instagram only. The same video still has to be uploaded separately to TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
- 29 days at most. A month of content planned in one go doesn't all fit.
- Comments are still on you. When the Reel goes live, every comment is answered by hand.
Schedule one video to every network
Disclosure: PersonaXpand is our product. Upload the video once from your computer, choose your Facebook Page, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and set the time. Facebook publishes it as a Reel; Instagram gets it as a Reel too, adjusted to the Reels format first; each network gets its own caption. You plan the whole run on one calendar.
When people comment on your Page, it drafts public replies in your own voice for you to approve with a tap, and never guesses prices or details about your business. See how to auto-reply to Facebook comments.
